About Me
My name is Coleen Voeltz. Since I was young, I’ve always had and loved animals – both learning about and taking care of them. After retiring from a 12-year career as a library assistant I started Casual Care Pet Care to ease owners’ stress when needing to be away from their pets, which is something I struggled with. I am flexible with scheduling and will do my best to make sure your time away from your pets is a positive time for them.
Mission
My mission is to offer you a solution for pet care when a kennel is not the best fit for your pet -- be sure to consider the age and health of your pet, and how he or she may handle staying in an unfamiliar location with other animals. My guess is HOME is a great fit for many families when we can make it work. I’ll make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, and nutrition they need. A pet on scheduled medication can be trying as well, but please know I am comfortable giving oral medications and insulin injections.
Vision
My vision for Casual Care Pet Care is simply to improve the quality of life for your pet by offering in-home visits, play-time, and lots of praise and attention. In the meantime, you benefit as well knowing they are safe and sound while you are away. Casual Care Pet Care is a low-key pet-sitting service...meaning I will purposely not fill my schedule to capacity. When I visit your pets, I don't want to be rushed--your pet will receive quality time and quality care.
